RaidSonic has recently unveiled three new USB 3.0 hard drive enclosures for the mass market. Let’s start with the first one, the Icy Box IB-230StU3 (pictured above) features an aluminum enclosure, a USB 3.0/2.0 interface and can accommodate a single 2.5-inch SATA HDD or SSD. It will ship next month for 27 Euro (about $37). Followed by the Icy Box IB-330StU3 that can accommodate a single 3.5-inch HDD or SSD and features the same USB 3.0/2.0 interface, and silicone inserts for noise dampening. It will go on sale in April for 39 Euro (about $53). Finally, the Icy Box IB-RD4320StU3-B that features the same USB 3.0/2.0 interface and can accommodate two 3.5-inch SATA drives with RAID 0, 1, 0+1, and JBOD support. Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing and release date yet.
