Teac T50p Old-fashioned Headphones

If you like retro gadgets, then check out the latest headphones from Teac. The Teac T50p incorporates Germany’s beyerdynamic technology to produce a high quality sound reproduction. The sealed ear-cups and headband are use metal parts to make them robust in a very timeless yet simple design form. The enclosed housing works very well to block external noise that way you are good to go even in a crowded market place. The Teac T50p comes equipped with a 1.2-meter long cable and a standard 3.5mm plug with an included 6.5mm adapters. The Teac T50p will be released in June 2010 for 30,000 Yen ($324).

Jays a-JAYS High-performance Earphones

Available in three models, Jays’ new a-JAYS headphones feature an 8.6mm dynamic speaker drivers and flat/ tangle-free TPE cords. The One is a basic model that comes in a sleek black finish, meanwhile the Two model features a highly polished finish and produces a more bass-heavy sound signature. The Two comes equipped with an included stereo splitter and a flight adapter.
The Three is a high-end model that adopts the titanium coated diaphragm (TCD) technology and a rubber coating, allowing these earphones to produce a wider frequency range than the One or Two models. Each purchase of the Three model comes with an included stereo splitter, a flight adapter and a protective case. Jays’ a-Jays high-performance earphones will be available in April 2010 for $40 – $60, depending on the model. [Jays]

Klipsch Image S4 And Image S4i Earbuds

Klipsch has recently launched the Image S4 and Image S4i earbuds for the mass market. Available in either black or white, these earbuds feature dynamic moving coil micro speakers with a frequency response of 10Hz to 19kHz, a sensitivity of 110db SPL/mw, and a nominal impedance of 18 Ohms. The difference between the two is the S4i’s inline microphone and three button remote, designed for smoother compatibility with the iPhone 3GS, 4th and 5th generation Nanos, 2nd generation Touches, and the iPod Classic. The black versions are widely available, including at Klipsch’s own web site. The white version of the Image S4 will be exclusive to Vanns.com, while the white version of the Image S4i will only be available from Apple stores. Monster Butterfly In-ear Headphones

Monster has collaborated with fashion designer Vivienne Tam to designed the Butterfly by Vivienne Tam In-Ear Headphones. These headphones feature a gold-colored metal housing and cord, with a butterfly graphic on the outer end of the earbuds. Monster also provides a variety of eartips in multiple shapes and sizes for a comfortable, secure fit, a cable slider and clip for cord management, and Monster’s ControlTalk in-line remote offering music playback control and an integrated high-grade microphone. AIAIAI Tracks Series Leather Headphones


Danish company AIAIAI and Kilo Design have teamed up to create the Tracks Series of leather headphones that were inspired by the function and design of the vintage iconic walkman headphones. These headphones feature 40mm driver units, a 3.5mm stereo plug, a 23 Ohm of speaker impedance and a 112 +/- 3dB of sensitivity. Additionally, the lightweight frame and leather earcups also add a luxurious touch to these headsets. The AIAIAI Tracks Series leather headphones will be available in 2010. No info on pricing at this time.
