iPod Touch With Camera Leaked

Vietnam-based website Tinhte has managed to get the first picture and video of the next generation iPod Touch. According to them, the device will sport a 2-megapixel camera and a 64GB of storage space. Unfortunately, it’s only a prototype at this stage, as you could see it has a DVT-1 (Design Verification Test 1) label on the back, meaning it’s an early design verification test unit in the evolution of product testing. New Sony Cyber-Shot Camera With Rhinestones

Sony has recently released the spanking new Cyber-Shot DSC-W350D digital camera for the Japanese market. Designed for women, the 14.5MP camera is decorated with sparkling rhinestones. The Cyber-Shot DSC-W350D features a 2.7-inch LCD display for previewing your captured photos, a 4x optical zoom, a 45MB of internal memory, the BIONZ Image Processing Engine, a high-resolution wide-angle 26mm lens, an optical image stabilization, an ISO Sensitivity of up to 3200 and a memory card for storage expansion.

Samsung’s Latest HD Camcorder With New BSI CMOS Sensor

 Samsung will launch the Samsung HMX-H205 HD camcorder that is perfect for use in a low light environment thanks to the fast Backside Illumination (BSI) CMOS sensor. The camcorder features a 2.7-inch touchscreen display, a 32GB of solid state storage that is upgradable via an SDHC card slot, a 20x optical zoom and an HDMI port, so you can playback your film on your HDTV. The HMX-H205 also supports H.264 video in 1080i at 60 frames per second. The Samsung HMX-H205 will be released in June 2010. Pricing info is still unavailable, so stay tuned.

Pentax X90 With 162.5X Zoom

Pentax today unveiled the successor to the long-serving X70. Known as the Pentax X90, this camera features a 26X lens (26-676mm equivalent) and uses an “intelligent zoom” in software to reach 162.5X (4,225mm). The 12-megapixel camera also adopts an image stabilization through sensor shifting and a fast face detection system that can recognizes as many as 32 individual subjects in 0.03 seconds. What makes this camera more special is that it captures movies at up to 720p and has a special anti-shake movie mode to reduce blurring for video. There is no word on availability or pricing for the Pentax X90, so stay tuned.

Samsung TL500 Small Prosumer Digicam

Samsung comes back to the prosumer camera market by launching the Samsung TL500 (also known as the EX1) that adopts several DSLR-level features. As a competitor to Panasonic DMC-LX3, this 10-megapixel compact camera comes with a large 1/1.7-inch CCD sensor, a bright f/1.8 lens, a 3x optical lens with a focal range of 24-72mm, a 3-inch swiveling AMOLED LCD screen, pop-up flash and external flash hotshoe, RAW shooting mode, and full manual control over exposure. The Samsung TL500 will be available in Spring 2010 for $449.99 a pop.

Pentax Launches Old-fashioned Point-and-shoot Camera


Pentax has officially released their latest retro point-and-shoot camera, the Optio I-10. Priced at 26,000 Yen ($289), the camera comes equipped with a gyro-based image stabilizer, a 12.1MP CCD sensor, up to 6400 ISO sensitivity, a 5x optical zoom, a 2.7-inch LCD screen, Face Detection and a 26.7MB built-in Memory (expandable with SD/SDHC memory Cards). This camera also supports HD video recording in 1280×720 pixel resolution. Measuring 100.5mm x 65.0mm x 28.0mm and weighing 153grams, the Pentax Optio I-10 is scheduled to be released at the end of February 2010.

New Casio Exilim Digicam With EXILIM Engine 5.0.


The Casio Exilim EX-H15 is a 14.1-megapixel camera that adopts the company’s newly developed EXILIM Engine 5.0 that increases image processing speed by 30% and produces beautiful images by removing noise from photos in high sensitivity mode. The camera also features a wide-angle 24mm 10X optical zoom lens and a 3.0-inch Super Clear LCD screen with a high resolution of approximately 460,000 pixels. The Casio Exilim EX-H15 also provides advanced standard features including CCD-shift image stabilization, long 1,000-shot battery life on a single full charge, and the high-resolution HD Movie function.

Casio EX-10HG GPS-enabled Digicam With Accelerometers


Casio has proudly introduced their latest innovative GPS-enabled compact digital camera concept at CES 2010. The Casio EX-10HG features a built-in GPS sensor for geo-tagging your photos. If the camera’s user go out-of-range from a global positioning satellite, the Casio EX-10HG will continue to track and geo-locate the user’s position using built-in three-axis accelerometers. Other specifications include a 12.1-megapixel sensor, a 10X optical zoom lens and the ability to record video in HD at 720p.

Samsung NX10 Gets Official


Remember the  Samsung NX10 that we mentioned back in December? This mirrorless interchangeable lens camera is finally official and will start shipping in Spring 2010. In case you’ve forgotten, the NX10 is packed with a 14.6-megapixel APS-C-sized CMOS sensor, a DSLR-style body, an eye-level VGA resolution electronic viewfinder, a large 3.0-inch AMOLED screen, an HDMI port and has the ability to record 720p HD video (H.264 codec). Unfortunately, there’s no word on pricing yet.

Affordable Exemode Yashica 720p Camcorder


Exemode today introduced an affordable high definition camcorder, the Yashica DVC525HD. Priced at only 9980 Yen ($111), the DVC525HD boasts a 5.17MP CMOS sensor and records video in AVI (Motion JPEG) at 720/30p. Weighing at 218grams, the camcorder also supports a 2.4-inch LCD display and a 128MB of storage capacity, which is expandable via SDHC cards (up to 16GB).

A New Point & Shoot Camera From Praktica


German-based company, Praktica has recently rolled out its latest point & shoot camera called the luxmedia 12-Z5. Measuring 92mm x 59mm x 23mm and weighing 120 grams, this entry-level camera sports a 12-megapixel CCD image sensor, 5x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch TFT color display. It also comes with a built-in 32MB memory, a microSD card slot, a USB 2.0 interface, a rechargeable battery and is capable of recording video in 720 x 400 pixels at 30fps. Creative Unveils Third Gen Vado HD Pocket Camcorder


Creative has once again updated its Vado HD pocket camcorder series by unveiling the third generation model. Coming in a stylish, glossy new look, the third generation Vado HD brings several new improvements over the last generation. Some of the new features you’ll find include:

Casio Exilim EX-FH25 Digital Camera

Casio today introduced its latest Exilim camera that focuses on improving the low-light image quality. Known as the EX-FH25, the camera provides a 10-megapixel CMOS sensor with a 3-inch LCD screen, a 20x of optical zoom, and an ISO range of 100-3200. This camera is able to shoot at 40 frames per second in burst mode at a resolution of 3456 x 2,592 or at a 1000 frames per second in burst mode at a resolution of 224 x168. Casio will launch the Exilim EX-FH25 in Japan on November 27th, 2009 for an estimated price tag of $558. [Impress]

Sealux’s Underwater Housing For Panasonic Camcorders


Sealux today unveiled an underwater housing for Panasonic camcorders. Dubbed as the Sealux HSD300, the case is usable at depths of up to 90 meters under water. With the application of the case, the Panasonic camcorders can still record videos in HDV and DV quality in the 16:9 or 4:3 formats and HD photos of up to 10.6 megapixels. Panasonic camcorders compatible with the Sealux HSD300 casing include the HDC-SD300 and HDC-HS300. The Panasonic Sealux underwater housings will be released in July 2010. The price ranges from $209.84 to $249.95, depending on the model.

Fujifilm Finepix F70EXR In Pink And Brown


Fujifilm has announced two new color options ‘Pink and Brown’ for its Finepix F70EXR digital camera line-up. These new color options will hit Japan in mid-November for around 40,000 Yen (about $442).
