Acer is set to launch another eco-friendly LCD monitor for the Japanese market. Dubbed as the V193Bwmd, this new 19-inch monitor is an energy efficient display, consuming just 18.5W during normal operation. Apart from that, the V193Bwmd also provides 1280 x 1024 native resolution, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time, 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 160/160 degrees viewing angle. In addition, it also comes with two built-in 1W speakers and has both D-Sub and DVI-D connectors. The Acer V193Bwmd will go on sale in Japan from mid-May for 20,000 Yen (about $212).
